"Waterfall S."

The Minutes of the Meeting of Saturday 28th October

In Attendance: Black Farr(bf), Ash Darko (ad), The Unsolved Man (tum),The Silent Uncle (tsu), Black Glass (bg), Left Channel (lc), Activity Group (ag), Head Librarian (hl), Chief Archivist (ca), Margaret (m), Abraham Porter (ap), Wolfe Tone (wt).

Apologies: 3rd Party, Bourbone Shadow.

Minutes: Chief Archivist (ca).

The extension plans for the main library building, due to commence in 2012.

(bf) presented the assembled with the new plans, which are detailed as follows: 1) the left wing and right wing will merge so as to become indistinguishable 2) there will be six new belfries erected evenly and with clarity 3) the main processing room will double in size.

All in attendance welcomed the new developments. (bg) raised concerns about the amount of belfries which were seconded by (ap) and (m). Here erupted a small dispute over motive. (ap) and (m) thought six were too many and they objected on the grounds that it was them that would have to clean them. (bg) on the contrary actually considered six to be too few. Both objections were overruled by show of hands, 9 to 3 in favour of six. (tum) suggested that if the processing room were to double in size, as stated, then now might be a good time to raise a census. By show of hands, 12 in favour, this motion was agreed. (hl) and her staff were charged with the duty.

The whereabouts of the Greek Fountain.

(bf) recounted the story of the Greek Fountain up to the present day (this was also presented in written form to all in attendance), and called for speculation as to its current whereabouts.

There was a low murmur across the table; a dark shadow flickered slowly against the northern recess. No comments were made. It was agreed by (bf) that he will further entertain his notions in private; this was seconded by (ad).

The possibility of installing a grimoire in the town square.

(bf) noted that the mood amongst the village people was similar to that of the rain. A certain darkness had entered the commune, sweeping like boredom at the speed of Tuesday clocks. He suggested that the bright lights made possible by magic, even if they were illusionary, may curb grain prices and structural concerns and offer games the ancient levity of wonderment.

(wt) was worried that the project was too poetic and feared rational uprising. This point was accepted by all in attendance, although (tsu) suggested that if the words were disowned and orphaned to the woods, they could learn to mobilise of their own volition. In this instance, (bf) agreed, their children may create a grimoire - born of the logic of the people. All hands were shown in silent approval.

A short address to the mayor on a variety of subjects.

The mayor entered at this point. He was placed in the ceremonial throne and the mask was placed upon him. (bf) addressed him with a display of vision and sound while those in attendance held hands and bowed heads.

Any other business.

(bf) opened the floor for any other business and it was agreed that the next meeting should occur once all in attendance had forgotten this one.

Ash Darko’s Demonstration.

Ash Darko's demonstration contained all the colours, as we have come to expect, yet there was a fourth revealed in the closing moments which gave the Thunder Moon a new effervescence. In conclusion he showed that the circular nature of imaginative motor sport was akin to the power relay that drives the budgeting hall. He was questioned rigorously, but all answers were given in Bird-French. Our team of experts are still lost in the voluminous notes he provided.

"Cob'bin"

Please refrain from attaching importance to the bell. It is a merely decorative feature with its roots in the vernacular of the Processing Room. If you wish to make an appointment, please contact us for further instructions.

As the December drizzle begins its familiar demise, we will be celebrating our time-honoured custom of releasing the music doors. Please feel free to come in and help yourself to everything available in the specially designated area.

Finally, the meeting of Saturday 28th October was a great success thanks to the participation of our erstwhile colleagues. We will be posting the minutes in due course, once they have been translated.

"Yaje Ulb!"

Some members have brought it to our attention that there have been local disturbances in and around the Four Corners. We are reliably informed that this was due to a recent lecture given by Dr. V. Sketcher in Theatre 25. After committing a slight error in language he accidentally evoked a small band of brigands from the 19th century Kingdom of Naples. We apologise for any distress this may have inspired, and can assure you we will be retracing our steps until we find an acceptable atmosphere of normality.

FÊTE!

(3.15, November, Wednesday)

There will be a small fête held in the eastern courtyard and all invited members of the community are welcome, except in circumstances of unforeseen vicissitudes. Music will be provided simultaneously by the Activity Group.

Arrive early for instructions.

"owllwo"

We apologise for the loss of sound on Friday 7th October. We have had some complications with the Annex door which required us to call upon the services of Art & Craft to render it more hopeful.

The committee meeting will still be going ahead this Saturday 29th October in the foyer of The Baths Hotel. Our chairman, Black Farr, will be performing the following itinerary:

  • The extension plans for the main library building, due to commence in 2012.
  • The whereabouts of the Greek Fountain.
  • The possibility of installing a grimoire in the town square.
  • A short address to the mayor on a variety of subjects.
  • Any other business.

There will also be a short demonstration by our treasurer, Ash Darko. He will be available to answer questions on the latest developments of the circular theory in the main budgeting hall.

We hope you will be able to attend and contribute to your community.
